Parents & Students
Things Parents at ATS should know:
If you are planning to take your child out of school for an extended period of time (more than 1 week) you will need to notify your child’s teacher as well as the office at least 3 weeks prior to your departure date. Extended absences from school will likely mean that students will develop gaps in learning which may limit their chances of success in later years. Therefore, the District strongly encourages parents to consider shorter absences, or that parents take trips in conjunction with an existing school holiday, such as Winter or Spring Break. See the attached form below for an EXTENDED ABSENCE LETTER.
ABSENT OR LATE STUDENTS
If your child is going to be away or late, please use the School Messenger application, website, or toll free number. Instructions can be found below.
LOST AND FOUND
If your student has lost items, lost and found boxes are located in the office (for small items) and in the MPR. Please label all of your student’s uniform items.
