Award:  min. $300

Criteria:

• Applicants must be graduating from a British Columbia secondary school with a minimum B standing. They must be planning to attend a recognized, publicly funded Canadian post-secondary education institution.
• Applicants must be a member of their school’s GSA and have played a significant role in diversity initiatives in their school or local community.
• Applicants must have a demonstrated financial need.

Engineer & Geoscientists of BC

UBC Centennial Entrance Scholarships

SFU Entrance Scholarships

TD Scholarships for Community Leadership

House of Commons- PAGE program

Award: Pages are paid $16,848 in 26 equal payments over a 12-month period. In addition, a sum of $1,200 is paid at the end of the employment period. Pages are expected to work a minimum of 15 hours per week during the period when the House is sitting. Flexibility for extended hours and for duty when the House is not sitting.

Our application process takes place annually in September/October. Shortlisted candidates are notified at least two weeks before their semi-final interview date.

There is no limit to the number of applicants from a single school.

Our committees review all applications and invite shortlisted candidates (semi-finalists) to attend online interviews. These interviews are an opportunity for semi-finalists to connect with one another, meet the local leaders who serve as our interviewers, and gain valuable interview experience.

After semi-final interviews, our committees invite outstanding semi-finalists to participate in our national interviews. Our committees also grant provincial & territorial awards ($2,000 each) and honour citations to semi-finalists who distinguish themselves at the semi-final level.
